Support and Guidance

Support and guidance will be given to learners in making sense of the training and learning and in understanding, confronting and resolving individual problems and difficulties. Guidance will also be given in terms of personal development choices.

During the training process, Tusanang will ensure that the needs of individual learners are identified, personal goals are set, progress is regularly reviewed, feedback is given, and support is provided.

Tusanang will provide regular opportunities for learners to review their progress and make changes to their personal goals while they are attending a training programme.

Assessment Process

Delegates are continually assessed within the classroom environment and provided with feedback during the programme. The trainers, together with other delegates in the group, provide constructive input. Feedback and assessment are based on numerous practical exercises.

Delegates are assessed on aspects identified in the programme as key to effective business skills. Assessment takes the form of role- plays and exercises relating to day-to-day business activities. At the start of the programme delegates will be required to identify areas they have difficulty with, so that the trainer can focus on these areas. Optional pre- and post-course assessments are available for in-house training programmes.

About Learnerships:

Tusanang can offer a full training, blended approach or a full RPL intervention. The approach to the learnership will be in line with your organisational strategies and objectives, whilst ensuring that the learners receive the relevant training and up-skilling that will empower them to achieve a qualification and improve their productivity within your organisation.

Full Training Learnership

This approach requires the planning for enough Notional Hours within the classroom, in the workplace and in self-study. During the required hours in the classroom, the facilitator will cover the theoretical component of the qualification. It will be expected that the learner then practically applies these skills in the workplace, and research, reflect and analyse the knowledge and skills for a similar amount of time on their own.

Blended Learnership

This approach integrates training and Recognition of Prior Learning through a Gap Analysis of the learners’ acquired skills. Training will then only be delivered as required, and the evidence collected will be as per the RPL assessment outline and guide.

RPL Learnership

This approach is wholly dependent on the learners, and the collection of enough, relevant and valid evidence to meet the outcomes of the qualification. Contact Sessions will be held with the sole purpose of evaluating and reviewing the evidence as collected by the learners.

About Workplace Readiness Training:

It is unfortunate to discover that many Grade 12 learners and students have difficulty in finding employment after school or after completing their studies.

Although learners and students typically have academic and technical skills, they often lack those basic skills, also referred to as employability or work readiness skills.

We have introduced workplace readiness programmes to bridge this gap between that of school/studies and work, which aim to equip learners with the skills required to perform efficiently in the workplace.

All these courses can be customised and offered on-site for your organisation.
